Spring

Finally! It's spring! My favorite time of year:-) I love it so much, it's like everything is coming back to life:-) I made a layout from an old photo of my eldest girl picking the first spring flowers.

It's time for a new case file over at CSI and the colors are just perfect for a spring page:-)



I was inspired by this months sketch over at Prima.

Spring

Endelig er det vår og Mai utfordringa hos Kreativ scrapping har rett og slett det som tema:-)

It's finally spring in Norway and the Kreativ Scrapping monthly challenge for may is all about spring:-)

I have used the Prima Build a page sketch for this layout, as you can see I have flipped the sketch. 

This time I made a mixed media layout with lots of gorgeous Prima products. The background sheet was just perfect for image :-) I have built a background with various elements like chip boards, resist canvas, lace, metal, wood etc. and covered it with gesso before I sprayed over with mist. I have and also used some embossing and stamping on background.

Denne gangen har eg laga ein mixed media layout med mange nydelige Prima produkter. Bakgrunnsarket var rett og slett perfekt til bilde:-) Eg har bygd opp ein bakgrunn med ulike elementer som chipboards, canvas, blonder, metall, wood osv og dekka dette med gesso før eg spraya over med mist. Eg har og brukt litt embossing og stempling på bakgrunnen. 

Dance

Finally I found the chance to scrap theese photos of our sweet ballerina:-) This page is actually about her leaving the class, although she loves dancing this wasn't right for her, and she was so happy leaving.

I was inspired by the january challenge over at Scrap around the world and I used the quoute on the mood board: "Life is a balance of holding on and letting go". I was also inspired by The colors, the keys, the clock and the flowers.

I also used the Build a page- sketch over at Prima - I ADORE those sketches!

Hello 2014!

It's almost time for the new year so I think it's time to scrap last years new years eve;-)

I made this layout for the Prima BAP for december. I just LOVE those sketches!

Here is my take on the sketch. It's actually the first time I've made a purple layout. I've been struggling to get my hands on some purple mist bust then I found the Prima Bloom sprays:-)

New bestfriends

Although it's winter I'm scrapping summer photos:-) I just love summer and it's so nice to look back. This summer my youngest daughter made a new friend, and now they are best friends:-)

I made this layout using the Prima BAP sketch for november. I flipped the sketch as I found it to fit my picture better.




I was also inspired by the beautiful mood board from Scrap around the world. I was inspired by the colors, the book page and the flowers. Usually I wood use a lot more blue when scrapping bathing pictuers, so it was fun using more pink and orange:-)

sweet dreams ~ Prima product picks

At the crop last weekend I made a layout for the Prima product picks aswell as the Build a page challenge. I had to make a page for each of my girls in the similar style:-) You can see the other layout here.



The palette this time is just gorgeous and perfect for a little sweet girl:-) The papers, flowers and brads are from my stash of gorgeous Prima products:-)

5 ~ Prima Build a page

This weekend I was at a crop in lovely Egersund, meeting a lot of other scrappers. I had the best time and got so much inspiration and good energy from all these awsome, creative ladies:-)

The next days I will show you the projects I made, but first up my take on the latest sketch at Prima. This sketch is just my kind of sketch and I had a great time making a layout from it:-)

My layout is a romantic mixed media page. It's about my oldest daughter and it describes how she is now at the age of 5.

I used a lot of Prima goodies on my page. The paper, flowers and many of the embellishements is all from my Prima stash. 

paradise beach

Time for a new case file over at CSI, and what a gorgeous palette it is this time:-) I found this perfect for this photo of my girls enjoying the beach at Tenerife. Just like paradise:-)

Evidence: flowers, beads, pearls

Testimony: inspirational word - blue. I have my journaling in a scroll in the little bottle. I have written about the big blue sea and about how much fun the girls are having with the waves. But also how they have to learn to respect nature and it's forces. 

I also used this sketch from Prima as inspiration. I'm not sure if I've used enough Prima products to be 

eligible for the Prima build-a-page challenge, but I'm just in love with these gorgeous flowers! (Pearl Penache). I'm also not certain on how close you'll have to follow the sketch. When I'm scrapping my pieces tend to have a life on their own;-) I was inspired by the splatters to make a mixed media background, the placement of the photo, and the placements of the hexagons is where I put most of the action in my page, just mirrored it:-)

Prima ballerina!

This fall my oldest daughter started taking ballet classes, and she loves it! She also loves scrapping and she especially loves the pages with lots of flowers and girly colors;-) So for this layout I went trough all my flowers and found lots of perfect Prima flowers to use. Prima October's BAP was also perfect for this page.



I was also inspired by the october challenge over at Scrap around the world. It's such a yummy and fresh mood board! I was inspired by the colors, different pattern and the doilies:-)




And here is my layout:

I started out layering lots of scraps and then I added some molding paste trough a Prima stencil on top.The doilies is inspired by the circles at both side of the sketch. I also see if you tilt the Scrap around the world sketch my layout fits that to!

I embellished my page with lots of different Prima flowers, the only one not Prima is the green one on the right (didn't have a green Prima..). I also added Prima brads from the Delight collection and a few epoxy stickers. The great thing about the ones from Prima is that the pack comes with many different sizes:-)

 I also managed to sneak in some Purple Pumpkin goodies:-) That ballerina button is just perfect, and I love the pink and white felt heart:-)
